Hi Everyone,

For my freind birthday we hoping to go away for a short 2/3 day horsey filled holidays. We are still pretty novicey so just want some nice chilled horse riding and hacking. We never done this before but can walk, trot canter confidently but have no idea wheres best to go as its so short we want it to be in the uk. Hoping someone might have some experiences to share or recommend us where to go. Cant really spend more than 300-400 each either but of course quality more than quantity goes. Thanks :) Would love to hear about your holidays too :)

Wheal Buller in Redruth, Cornwall! It's fantastic, definitely the best one i've ever been on and my daughter loved it too!!
We rode on the beach, went for a day ride through the hills and had a lovely canter through an old quarry, did some very baby xc jumps, rode the ponies in from the field & we even went swimming on the ponies!!
It was absoloutly amazing, we go back every year as its just lovely to have some chill time and all the people are so friendly! They have a rough guidline for holidays but you can pick and choose what you want to do :)
All their horses are for sale, last time we were so close to bringing 2 home because they are such lovely horses and not your typical riding school plod!!
Here's the link and if you have any questions feel free to mail me

Wherever you decide have a great time!!

I'd recommend equestrian escapes cheshire breaks. They go to my local riding school which has lovely horses and instructors and they do lessons and hacks. The hacks go on the Sandstone Trail to Primrose Woods. THere are also 3 hour hacks for competent riders to Kelsall Hill farm ride or to Delamere Forest. I'd highly recommend them. I've ridden at that yard for over 10 years and it's lovely :)
