Does anyone, or has anyone taken their horse to a horsey B&B along the south coast or South West coast anywhere? Thinking of taking a few days off work to have some sea fun along a beach somewhere and not sure where to start looking.
Or being cheeky does anyone live near the sea who has 2 horses we could "borrow" for a couple of days?

We go to Cornwall several tmes a year for at least a week and have done for 6 years to stay with the same people, who have now become friends. They have a self-catering chalet style bunkhouse, separate stable block for holidaying horses, provide hay, bedding and a space for feed etc. There's a floodlit school and they are really really lovely people. The moor is a 10 minute hack away and we've been out all day and the only road we've had to use is the one up to the moor! We now hunt with them as well!

They charge £40 a night for the bh or £260 per week; and horses are £10 a night on straw or £12 on shavings/miscanthus.

Again, this is not hacking distance of the beach but a short box away would get you to the beach.

There's a place called Chark and they are quite close to a beach near St Austell. http://www.charkcountryholidays.co.uk/horses.htm
