Horsey must-haves?

Other than the numerous matchy matchy sets and God knows what else we dress our horses up in to make them look absolutely adorable, what do you think every horse owner must have? Be it, a certain girth, anti-shock pad, some kind of product or something for yourself, I'm interested to know what everyone thinks is completely necessary to own/use?

A hat/helmet that fits properly. You can make do and mend with almost everything else.

Mine aren't like life essentials, but I hate riding in anything other than free-jump stirrups now. I just don't find anything thats so grippy and puts my foot in such a good position. Also, I now use Ogilvy pads on my horses & wouldn't use anything else!

As I'm working very long hours every day and horse on fully livery - a yard owner/manager who is experienced and knowledgeable.

Daily turnout all through the year, and ad lib good quality hay when stabled, on rubbing matting, with fresh and clean water every day.

The best farrier that you can afford.

Well fitting saddle.

Not essential but my Haygain hay Steamer has made my winter much more enjoyable.
I previously soaked hay. Totally worth the money.
