Horsey people - how many dogs do you own?

I have 2 bullmastiffs. A male and a female. Would love a small dog, especially a border terrier but have been told 2 is enough!!

i have 3 cats instead, i like dogs but am more of a cat person, also i only rent at present and dont have room for a dog, maybe one day

I have one Dobe, 2 Vizslak and one monster dog - sorry little crossbreed. The little one belonged to my late aunt and I took him on when she died. My big dogs are suffering from little dog syndrome.

I've got 2 whippets and my mum has 3 whippets and my sister has 1 whippet. I don't think there is any such thing as too many whippets LOL

Could a doggie not come with you to do the horses? We have 3 dogs and we very rarely take them out for a 'walk' they just hang around the yard, run behind the land rover, take themselevs off around the farm etc. We have a yorkie, a black lab and a delinquent foxhound.

You are missing the point! The dogs spend the time with you that you spend with the horses as they are there with you. If you see what I mean. Unless you are are on a livery yard that won't have dogs which many won't.

1 border collie, small female. Thinks it's great to chase the horses and any movement from them she is yapping at their heels

She is 11/12 and scatty. Would love a GSD again or a wolf dog like severnmiles has!

Minskikai-my mum is a trustee of the Dog and Cat shelter so all our future dogs will be from there!!!

I really want a Jack Russel but the parents will only have big dogs in the house........will get my own as soon as i move out!!

A Bordercollie male, Malamute x Husky male. Doberman girl, and two rescued Staffy cross puppies (male & female). I've always wanted lots of dogs, so this feels natural to me. I tend to get some weird looks being out and about with my lot though
