Went on a nice relaxing hack as it was a lovely day. Horsey was quite happy to be out and bumbling along. Just a wee bit on his toes.
And he was a bit daft and spooking at random things like killer garden gnomes and logs - oh the joys. So you can imagine my horror when, on a straight bit of road I hear coming my way a cavalcade of sirens, and upon turning my head notice that there is indeed a lot of blue lights heading my way (1 police car, 1 ambulance, 1 Ambulance support van and an unmarked police car) all with lights going etc. Did Horsey bat an eyelid?? Nope!!
THEN, not 5 ins later along came 2 fire engines (who nicely turned off the sirens - the others didn't) and he was not phased by them at all!
. I was super proud of him.
Until upon turning the corner he decided that there was a demon in a shed and he left across the road
Horses!
Oh and found out that the commotion was for a light aircraft that had crashed a few miles away!! I had wondered where it had gone to as well
