I havent posted anything on here for a while so thought Id give you all an update on my youngster and my little psycho. lol
Well, poppy ( youngster) is being a little star at the moment. She now has a great outline in walk and her trot is improving. I was jumping her on wednesday and she has started jumping properly, instead of the stepping over she used to do. And we cantered for the first time on too although it wasnt deliberate, she just landed after a jump and started cantering

Lady, my little psycho is less psychotic. I realised that my riding was partly the problem because when she speeded up, I tensed up and that made her panic. So now I stay calm and guess what....she stays calm too. We had our first show jumping competition this year a couple of weeks ago and we won the 80cm class. We were alowed to put up the jumps and have a bit of fun at the end free of charge. So i put them up and we jumped round the course at 90cm. We had great fun.
