Horsey world is small???

Does anyone else find that the horsey world is a scarily small place?

Just weird as there's SO many horsey people about but everyone seems to be linked in some way.......

More random thoughts - must go and do dinner before I spout any more cr*p!
 
It is VERY Small.

Found out the other week that someone I know off a forum - her sister's pony was bred by the people who own my old share pony
 
You want weird? "Tia" boards a horse I showed for it's Hannoverian inspection last year.

I was on a completely non-horsey American-based site where one member had a horse pic as her avatar. When I looked closer it turned out to be from our local major showground! What's more it then turned out when I PMed her and pointed out my discovery that she was going to the same college I went to, taking the same program, and being instructed by a fellow I went to school with. So much for the anonymity of the internet!
 
It's so bizarre but like you say, quite nice in a way! (as long as you're bumping into people you WANT to get in touch with again!!)

Isn't it just? Shrinking by the minute.
I went to the same school as one HHO member, worked with another one, and another one moved into the next village to mine and took her horses to our show. In RL, TWO people in the village I was in lived within a mile of me, at the same time, when I lived in Worthing, and when we moved here the first person to come and say Hi raced his trotters at the track in my village in Wales.
