Are there any other horsey Youtubers on here?

I started to get my mum to film me when I was riding to see my position and stuff, but then I started to edit and really enjoy it now :) My youtube is JBshowjumping

If you have a channel, please let me know, I'd love to watch some vids!

Their not rubbish! I'm personally not a fan of those youtubers that rape their videos with effect so badly that you can hardly see whats going on :/

This is my sister's channel. She almost exclusively uploads raws of her training/ competing, with mini-blogs underneath explaining what's going on. She has a little gang of horses, mainly her ex-racer and ex-polo pony, and it's about trying to persuade them they want to be eventers!

I have a Youtube channel- it's not edity at all but more to document me and my boy's progress! I find it really useful when someone films me riding so mainly have videos for that reason and then upload them if I think they're of any interest to my subscribers. http://www.youtube.com/user/lilyoftheincas05
I've subscribed to you by the way. :)

Thanks for subscribing :-) what's your username?

Mine aren't edited or fancy either - I don't know how to do any of that I'm afraid, wish I did sometimes.

Mostly my youngsters and I am doing quite a few of my first homebred learning the ropes as a four year old. It has been lovely to see the change in him since he started.

We have started a new YouTube Channel called HorsesforCourses which we hope to develop (we'd love your feedback) :) to provide our viewers handy tips for owning a Pony or Horse. From 'How to Buy' through all the aspects of 'Stable Management' or how to look after a Pony or Horse. The Youtube Channel is presented by Jackie who has many years or looking after ponies and horses in the UK. She has bought ponies and horses for herself and her three boys to ride in a variety of disciplines from Pony Club to Eventing, Dressage, Show Jumping and Hunting. Jackie has 'broken' three of our current 'stars'; Percy, Max and Jack. Max (our Palomino gelding 16.2HH) was bred on the farm and is now 5. Percy is a Connemara pony who is 14.2HH and is now 11. Jack is 5 years old and 16.1HH

Hi MileAMinute. Thanks for your reply. What we are really looking for is ideas on what we can do. Do you have any suggestions on where else on H&H Forums we might post a link, or is this the best place? Just to add that this is not a commercial enterprise - we are just doing this for fun!

Welcome to the forum HorsesforCoursesuk. I apologise for the other poster's rude post. She doesn't own the forum nor is she a moderator, so I don't see how you posting your equine video on a thread about Equine YouTubers effects her..

Your channel looks brilliant and it seems you're planning on covering most horsey basics. If you're looking for suggestions for content, how about a video on schooling?

I'm chapaillini (possibly with only one L) but rarely use it/a lot of videos are old.

I do have more I need to upload at some point, but youtube blocks the sound on a lot of my unedited ones as they play music when people are jumping so I don't know how many of them actually work!

Welcome to the forum HorsesforCoursesuk. I apologise for the other poster's rude post.

I agree MileAMinute was a bit harsh! It is considered a little rude to resurrect an old thread without making it clear that is what you are doing and why (i.e. "sorry to resurrect an old thread but") as it can confuse people, it is also slightly frowned on to make your first post a self-promotion one. This could have been politely pointed out though!

HorsesForCoursesuk - your channel looks great. You might be better starting a new thread though (e.g. Ideas for new youtube channel), making it clear its non-commercial. As you can see, a lot of posters are reading the initial OP and then replying without seeing your post or realising its an old thread.
