Most of my faves are already in here, but one I haven't seen mentioned is Horses Galore.
If I recall correctly, it was a sort of magazine programme for horsey kids, and was on either on a Saturday or a tea time slot (I think it was tea time).
I don't remember much about the actual programme, except that it was factual rather than fictional, and I loved it. It was late 70's early 80's.

I have recently re-bought my childhood favourite book, which was Fly by Night, and am also thinking of getting another one I remember as a kid, which was "A day to go hunting", which rather bizarrely I remember nothing of, except that it was set around Bletchley/MK.
Quite tragically, in a month's time I will be doing my first ever hunter trial, and it's all Fly by Night's fault *shame*
