"Oh OK, at least it's coolish..."

Switch to strong jet setting....

"Mmmmmmm....LOVELY".

A most curious horse.

Anyone else's have odd bathing habits? :)

My PSSM mare is loving her 2/3 times a day hosing off atm, which is great as her strong aversion to being hosed (and being cold in general) was one of the things which led me to suspect PSSM in the first place. It's now usually well controlled by diet and management.

The other two ladies are loving their showers too, and I'm also happy if I get a sneaky dowsing :D.

My Ardennes used to hate being hosed until we had last year's hot spell. The hose was by the field gate and he would stand and refuse to move until he'd been hosed down. Can't shift an Ardennes that doesn't want to be shifted, so hosed down he was!

The Appy will drink from the hose. She was horrible to handle on the ground when she first came to me and I remember dreading her first bath - but she loved it. Stick the hose in her face and she glug from it.

My mare usually isn't too keen on the hose... the other day she was spreading her back legs apart so I could get right up in all her itchy hot bits with it the tart lol!

Henry loves the hose. It's actually quite hard to hose the top of his neck or his head most of the time because he keeps trying to turn round so he can grab it in his mouth! If I have it on the spray setting, he likes it if I spray it upwards so it comes in an arc and then he shoves his head underneath it and sticks his tongue out to catch the water :D I'll have to try and get hold of the video my friend took of him doing it the other day, but for now this might give you some idea ;)

Twattish thoroughbred will mug me if I go anywhere near the hose when it's hot until he is allowed to play in it and have a soaking.
He's weird. Like really weird.
