Hello, I am feeling a bit dragged from pillar to post at the moment by the equine hospital that my girl is at. She was admitted last Monday for a bone scan and then it turned out they couldn't do the scan til Wednesday due to a lack of the radioactive material they need for injecting. Fair enough I thought, but it is still two extra days livery for me to pay...
Then, as there are no results on the scan the vet suggested to x-Ray her but the machine is not available til early next week and because there is not much else I can do now I agreed to wait. Another three nights in hospital without anything happening. I haven't got my own transport and rely on friends/ transport companies to take us back and forth. Also, asked for her to be transferred onto straw as it is cheaper but they don't have straw beds free now. I want to see if I can get a discount on that basis is that fair?
I see that she is in very good care while at livery at the hospital so it has nothing to do with the guys and girls working there it is just the management I feel has been letting me down...
