on my insurance (with kbis) its says this

Incident Limit: £3000

Annual Limit:Unlimited

Excess:£135

Complementary Treatment:£0

Hospitalisation:£0

Carcass Disposal:£200

What does it mean? if she needs to go to hospital to be treated they dont pay?
none of their leasure policies cover this

They will pay for treatment, but not 'livery' costs that occur when animals are hospitalised. Some will cover 'nursing' costs which can alleviate this, but otherwise hospitalisation fees can be quite expensive.

It means that if your horse has to stay in for anything other than emergency treatment (and in a lot of cases, even if they need to be in for emergency treatment) they wont pay the hospitalisation fee. We split it into a livery fee (which is the bit they wont pay) and a nursing fee (which they do) with the bulk of the fee being the nursing/clinical fee to try to get as much back for the owner as possible...
