In the riding sense of course!

My mum has a livery client who had a young horse with a reasonably serious event rider. She then sent the horse to my mum for me to take hunting (for the cheaper rate I imagine), but the event rider said she shouldn't because "that Sarah Buck has a hot bottom you know!".

so up until now I've thought she was talking rubbish, but now i think she might be right!! Everything I ride seems to be a bit too up for it/strong etc. Badger is a complete gent with everyone else but turns into a beast when i get on.

I like my horses to be forward going but I don't understand why i have this effect???

Anyone else got a hot bum?

My share horse Bailey was always so quiet with his owner hacking but a prancing jogging hot horse when I sat on him - don't think I was winding him up!? Now current ned just takes p*ss out of me will give me a ride for my money any day but will take a novice out for a nice safe walk/trot any day.

Good fun though, keeps you occupied!

Nope i haven't got a hot bum!

But i have got a sticky bottom the reason behind my name is because of my very first ride on this little shetland pony.Who decided to to have a bucking session with me on board and i just sat there and even now i seem to sit to a buck quite well!

Thankfully I haven't got one (it wouldn't go very well with a wimpy nature!), but I know someone else with one and she doesn't know what it is that she does that other people don't do! Does anyone what is at 'the base' of this?

No - I have no idea!!

I'm a very relaxed rider, only thing I can think of is I let them get away with more stuff than most - because I think it's fun!

Ive got an electric bum as well. most things wind up when i get on. Ive even got one pony myself that i swaer is dead from the neck up and pity the poor soul who takes him in the showring as they will be lucky to get a walk, not me of course, i got bombed off with by said dead from the neck up pony.

I've got a cold bum - I chill everything out and slow them down. When i was younger people would put this to good use by putting me on the whizziest ponies, but then when i had to ride a slow pony to start with, I was doomed. I don't know what I do wrong to slow everything down? I worry that maybe I'm blocking them somehow?

I'm sure a hot bum would be much more fun!

Everything I sit on goes mental! even our ploddy riding school ponies bronc and take off with me! my own horse is (fairly) quiet with other people (for a loopy tb anyway) but turns fiery as soon as i get on.
I wish i could work out what i do cos its actually knocking my confidence a bit getting taken off with, and my boss has started calling me a cowboy..........

my eldest has an electric bum to. she got on my mare shortly after i bought her and she took off round the school at 90 mph with her.shes never done that with anyone else and i think half the yard have had a sit on her at one point or another!
her own horse always bucks or broncs with her, never with anyone else although in fairness not many people have sat on him.
our welsh turns into a maniac when ash gets on her. she is a cheeky git and will try it on but when ash gets on its like anything goes!
