I checked my horses feet this morning and they are both warm, and her injured foot from the ddft is significantly warmer than the other after she has just had her shoes taken off, gave them a firm squeeze at the tendon and she didnt flinch (hit the roof when she was in pain) and she trotted up fine.
Is this normal after the shoes have been removed for heat? understand the blood flow will have been affected as the frog is now touching the floor- and she has big sticky out frogs from the shoes.
thanks
