I’m done… Totally fed up with getting cooked from the head down when riding. Are there genuinely any riding hats out there that provide some decent air flow? Endurance ones?? TIA

I wore my gatehouse air rider 2 the other day and was very happy to be able to feel cool(ish) air on my head whilst riding. So much more comfy than my old CO hat. Still sweaty but not cooking to the same extent and washable liner! Any of the lightweight dial style ones are like to work I would have thought?
what hat do you currently ride in OP?

I wear top quality cross country/bmx bike helmets which i believe offer the same safety, minus the "penetration" tests, which I would only be worried about if I rode through a lot of trees or close to metal spikes of some kind. They are much more heavily vented than almost all horse riding hats. I chose a design that fits as low at the back as a standard riding hat. I also like the fact they have a visor, which flips up or breaks free if hit.
