Hot horse question!

Hi

Any amazing suggestions for best fly rugs for hot horses? She has mild sweetitch, managed well so very little symptoms. The Rambo Sweetitch hoodie is just too warm now we're having summers and as long as she has cream on she is ok in a fly rug but I want one thats super cool.

I find they stay cooler under the cotton ones like Amigo Aussie alllrounder.

Amigo Ripstop Hoody. Mine is the same, only mildly afflicted and gets too hot under the Rambo. The Shires Highlander SI rug is also a more lightweight option.

Yes I have one of these. All of mine had fly rugs on today and all were cool under them. Friesian had the PE supalite on, my spotty boy had his equilibrium on and my mare had her le mieux sweet itch rug on. That has got to be the coolest sweet itch rug I’ve ever had - the Shires one used to make her sweat.
