Just looking for opinions really.
We've really had to search to find a farrier who hot shods.... have had to use cold shoers in the meantime, who, to my inexperienced eye, seem to trim the hoof to fit the shoe.... instead of shaping the shoe to fit the hoof.
I've come back to the horsey world after a good 10-15yr break, so was just looking for opinions on hot vs cold. To me hot was important because the shoe is shaped to fit the foot. Happy to say we have found a brilliant young farrier who has done a fantasic job on his feet today
Please no barefoot discussions btw... (ducks)
