Just got back from dropping Jack at the vets and when we got home one of the central wheel hubs on the rear axle was red hot. OH (who is lorry Driver/manager) says not a big problem.
But I am a worry wart so......
what do you think, has this happen to you?

Got to bring Jack home on friday so need to have it safe.

Could be brake shoes binding, crawl underneath and look for brake adjuster and turn off a half of one turn anticlockwise. pays to jack up if jack handly and spin the wheel to check if its done the trick, or if very old horsebox with only one braking axle it could be your wheel bearing out of grease. jack up and support axle remove hub dirt cover and spit pin remove hub bearing nut remove outer bearing and pack with grease that will get you home until you come to get bearing overhauled.
