hotel near newark showground

i know i keep doing this but we are at zone mounted games in a couple of weeks at newark. it is quite a drive - at least 4 hrs in a lorry - and i want my husband and not horsey sons to come up and have a good time too. do you know a really lovely el swanko posho hotel nearby - indoor pool would be lovely. hubbys idea of a good hotel is one with casino and pianist in the lobby but we will compromise! hoping to detour via whittaker lorries on the way home so 4 posters, mirrors on ceiling etc a bonus!

well there's B&B at The Willows, Barnby in the Willows.

Also at Yew Tree Farmhouse, Sutton cum Beckingham

There's a travel inn or holiday inn or something in Newark.

Will have a think about somewhere more swanky - I'm not sure that Newark does 'swanky' !
