Hound Exercise - what do i wear please?

Hi all, as title really, what should I wear? Have a tweed jacket and beige jodhpurs so thats fine but am confused about the tie.....can I just wear a normal shirt and borrow a tie from my husband?! Or is there some special sort of hunting shirt and tie I need to have?
Also does my mare need to have anything specific. Lady on the phone said plaiting not necessary. Should she have a plain brown or neutral numnah or anything like that?
Complete newbie so sorry for all the questions, don't want to mess up on first outing!

Exactly this, and no coloured numnahs, saddle pads etc, brown or black to match your saddle is best. (No coloured anything except a plain navy, green etc tie) You'll look workmanlike and fit in x

My grandfather used to explain correct autumn hunting attire as "if you fell in a muddy hole, and came out more or less the same colour as you went in".

Rat catcher but some hunts are more casual. I did shirt, tie and fleece gilet with one. A smart soft shell jacket with another. Rat catcher from now on though.
