YAYYYYY brilliant lovely hound pics :D:D:D Thanks Cala, they are fab :D:D

I didnt realise there was such a size difference between Flick and Blue tbh, but they are truly gorgeous hounds all of them... love the one of Bray :(....and Maizey is gorgeous, what happened to her?

Maizey was rehomed about 10 mins frome....so she is on the door step, harry was rehomed via a link a put on lurcher link she went a good 4 hours away but I get updates and piccies.

Blue is petite, she is more like an italian grey hound and im sure flick is a whip x grey.
Amy was about the smae size as bray, maybe a touch bigger and flick a little smaller.

Really? What a numpty I am then I always thought of Bray being much bigger than my lot  Amy is the middle one of mine, Islay being v slightly bigger and my Flick v slightly smaller, I always make them walk along on the lead in size order :p:D

Next time I am gonna have a massive greyhound dog, I have already decided :D

And I would have kept Maizey... :p

My mam has a mahusiveeeeeee greyhound lad called sunny...I will get a pic of him next time im up.

See I only get to keep the problem dogs, maizey never had a problem, flint had aggression issues so he stayed, blue collapsed randomly she stayed, flick jumps 10ft plus fences he stayed, Tia likes the taste of other dogs, she stayed, rufus ran away from his first home and became rather attatched to us, he stayed, bubba was dog aggressive, she stayed (the akita)
Bud was human aggressive (wirey p boy)
The only dogs we kept cos we wanted too initially was deerhound as OH had him from a baby and my rotti as I needed some protection on the night shift and she did have aggressive tendancies.
I kept our bray cos I loved her and never wanted to rehome her on.

We get to keep the miss fits, thats I would not trust others to keep under a firm hand and the rest we rehab and are managable we let go.

I could have found a problem with Maizey I am sure :p - yeah, got one already, she always rolls in cr*p :D Makes my lot seem very boring compared to your set of delinquents :p

Theres a gorgeous greyhound called Mouse on GRWE website looking for a home, he is 41 kg apparently  Doesnt say how big at the shoulder. Perhaps I'd better move to a bigger place first though :p

Awww, they are all so lovely, i love coming in here and hearing about your animals.

I'm a recent hound convert, my parent have just rehomed a gorgeous 5yr old Lurcher (although i'm sure there is some greyhound in there somewhere) bitch called Molly on Sunday and i can't wait to meet her at the weekend.

Aside from the obvious, is there anything they desperately need to know about the breed(s) The RSPCA (shush don't tell anyone they went there) have been very good as it is the first dog they have rehomed after we lost our Poodles 2 years ago.

Thanks for your help :)

Pretty much depends what in them, but they are pretty much laid back lovable dogs, they sleep for long periods and can run for long periods, they are pretty low maintenance loyal dogs and watching them hoon around and do the wall of death in an open field is fab.
They like a comfy bed, but at the same time most are pretty hardy, esp the shaggier types.
Thay have a keen eye foe small furries or small dogs that look like nowt nor summit:D:D but I find them pretty easy to train.
Tell your parents to prepare to share the couch and PICS ASAP please:rolleyes:

hehehe, i think they are planning to buy her, her own couch!!!!!!

Thank you, bless her she has a little wimper when one or both of them leave the room, but that's getting less and less, even after a few days so i hope she is starting to settle.

This is what is making me think she is more greyhound, she doesn't have a shaggy coat.

If i can ever figure out Photo *ucket i'll start a new thread with pics.

I'm so glad they went down the rehoming route, but also so cross as when they went to the centre there was a 3 month old lab pup in there - who gives up on a pup after only a few weeks at home (insert very angry smiley here)

LOL - they will learn, even if they buy her her own couch she will still want theirs :D Well my lot do anyway... hmmmm, perhaps that is something I am doing wrong.... :D
