House/dog sitter or home boarder, Central Scotland

Bit of a long shot, given the UK-wide/International nature of the forum but worth exploring all options! I don't suppose anyone can recommend a house sitter (or house sitting company) or home boarder (with no other pets) in Central Scotland (ideally Glasgow-ish)?

Got a couple of trips this year (Feb and May - I know Feb is quite soon) where we're not able to take the boys (sad but needs must) so looking for options. Kennels are potentially a no as Buddy not yet vaccinated against kennel cough and might be short on time for that as it takes 2 weeks to kick in IIRC.

I met a couple last year..based over Edinburgh way who house sat all over the place…they were at a farm in Stirling at the time…his name was Bob…ex police. I’m sure he said they were on face ache….wonder if you could track em down.

This is like being back working in public libraries... "I read this great book about 3 years ago, red cover, about a man..."! I'll get my detective hat on and see what I can find out about Bob!

I’ve used Trusted House Sitters a few times, sadly not for the last couple of years. All the sitters were great - one was recently retired UK based the others were mainly from Australia Definitely worth registering with them, you can check out the feedback, l stuck to people who had already done a few sits but the best rated do get booked up months in advance.

Theres also a newish organisation called Top dog sitters, someone told me about them today but don’t have any experience of them.
