mmm im not really sure what to make of this story yet. i will be interested to see it out to the end though. in the police statement earlier the policeman said that the media had interfered a lot which wasnt really helping matters
 
Well, it is certainly a weird thing, and the horror of it is ghastly.

The fact that the pets were killed, the guinea pig, the dogs and horses makes this REALLY strange.

My husband thinks the father went mad, I say the russian mafia. Time will tell.
 
If it hadn't been reported that he had boasted that he would leave nothing behind and that those in his debt would receive nothing then yes, I would think there was something more sinister, as it is, I am convinced it was a man taking his final revenge and ensuring that his word kept true.
 
Weez, I agree.

I was surprised to hear that the two bodies found so far, were that of Jill Foster and a male. I truly expected that they would be identified as Jill and Kirstie.

However, given the circumstances (blocked access, animals slaughtered, debts, and his dubious character) I still believe that he did it.

Just seems odd that the victims weren't together.

totally agree with u dubble. its a shame but it looked as thuogh he had no way out, or at least no easy one. the marriage may have gone to pot as Jill was having an affair, though one would possibly think that the unidentified man could well have been her lover as it is taking a while to go through the dental records, and they would have had Chris's dental ones well close to hand, surely?
then again I know nothing detective, i am by no means a pro and i hope ive not just offended anyone
 
it's all very odd and very sad, as soon as i heard that the animals had been shot before being burnt I thought it had to be the father, someone without emotional attatchment to the animals would have just let them burn to death rather than slaughter them first

is it true that the bailiffs were due? confusing as if he was going through bankruptcy or liquidation everything 'belongs' to the insolvency people and can't be touched or sold until they have done their thing and worked out what creditors are due

Wasnt it in the news also that the windows were boarded up on the inside??? Would make it even stranger, as what attacker would be able to board up windows and block the drive etc....I think its him, but id hope not!!!!
 
The boarded up windows were reported in the paper. I am quite surprised that one of the tabloids hasnt speculated about the daughter being responsible having got together with an undesirable yet

They have been saying that if the father had nothing to do with it then he will have a strong libel case against many of the papers! You just wonder what is going to come out next

Agree about the dental records too. I would have thought they attended the same dentist, so it would have been relatively straightforward. Unless Chris Foster had dentures?

They said this morning on GMTV that the body next to Mrs is male but has not yet been identified .They reckon/think that he killed everyone before turning the gun on himself.He has a £800000 tax bill to pay etc etc.The main concern is about the daughter Kirsty. Its very sad that people can get too proud and embarrassed when their finances goes down the drain,instead of facing the music.
 
I know it sounds sick (and a couple of other people have said this) but I really hope for the girls sake that she isn't alive.

I dread to think what she could be going through and how much damage that could have done to her, especially if it does turn out to be the father, to know all the things he planned. Shooting his wife, and planning on kidnapping her.

It's just awful really.
 
I suspect she's in there and dead. Nobody has said where her bedroom is, and they have still got loads of the house to search.....
If it was a gang, she would only be leverage whilst the father was alive and could be manipulated.

What a desperate waste.........:(
 
Although if the daughter was alive would'nt she be set to inherit a relatively large sum of money? The mother had been recently left an inheritance, and the father has taken out a very large life insurance according to the Times (think it was in the Times).

As it was a Ltd co none of that would be touched by the banks if it was personal funds.
 
I agree with those who have said they hope the daughter is dead. How would the poor girl recover from this? They said on the local news that the police "believe" the male body is Mr Foster but not confirmed yet. What a sad, sad affair.
 
I too believe the daughter is dead and they just haven't located her yet - it took ages for them to be able to find the 2 bodies. I assue the male is the father. I would also assume he did it too as I can't see what anyone else would have got out of it seeing as everything has been destroyed.

I just hate the way poor animals get dragged into these things - why not just leave them? It's not like they could have been witnesses could it!
 
They attended a BBQ the previous evening and everything appeared to fine and by 4am everything had been set fire to.

Could it have taken more than 1 person to systematically slaugher every living thing and then set fire to everything, put up blockades and have enough fire accerlant to make sure everything was raised to the ground, how much of it would you would you need to put in different areas in that huge mansion to make it go up like that and stay burning. The whole horrific incident must have taken place over a few hours
