House Fire - Bodies Identified as....

[ QUOTE ]
They attended a BBQ the previous evening and everything appeared to fine and by 4am everything had been set fire to.

Could it have taken more than 1 person to systematically slaugher every living thing and then set fire to everything, put up blockades and have enough fire accerlant to make sure everything was raised to the ground, how much of it would you would you need to put in different areas in that huge mansion to make it go up like that and stay burning. The whole horrific incident must have taken place over a few hours

Now this is heresay, taken from talking to somebody local, but apparently Chris Foster was in the Fire Service at one point, and if that is true, he would certainlyhave known how to achieve the most 'effective' results.

Also, it has to be remembered that the main part of the house that was the most severely damaged, was Georgian, and was heavily beamed and wood panelled, with a multitude of soft furnishings and wall tapestries. It would have made ideal conditions for a fire to spread.
The garages and adjoining stables were wooden, so they would have burnt easily too.

I am still convinced that he murdered his wife and child around the time of the alleged power cut to the property shortly after 1am, then systematically barricaded the property, slaughtered the family pets, and set the fires. The fire brigade wasn't called until around 4am, so he had roughly three hours in which to do all this.

All that said, I would love to be proved wrong.
Not that the alternative is any better of course, but just because I cannot bear to think of that poor girl dying at the hands of her own father.

When you put it like that Dubs it does seem very feasible. Its just the thought of him systematically going through the whole process of destroying everything. The noise, the smells and him just going completey and utterly mad awful just awful.

The news at 1 said the remains haven't been removed yet. They need to be removed and worked on before they can be identified. They can say at the site it's most likely a young female under the age of 16 if the pelvis and skull are complete or have the relevant parts but they can't identify conclusively on site.

Totally agree with Dub's theory, and Zoobie's sentiment
