House sitting?

Hi

I'm stuck as to what to pay my friend for house and pet sitting?

He would be looking after 5 chihuahuas, 2 cats and some chickens. It's put the chickens out in the morning and in at night. Feed by the run. Feed the cats in the morning and run the dogs in the garden. He would stay in the house and I would leave the fridge and freezer full of food for him and some beers.

What would you say would be fair pay for 8 days?

As a rough guide I got £20 for 1 evening/overnight for looking after 2 Rottweilers and a jack Russell. Involved walking and also feeding cats in pen outside. Oh and also turning out 3 of her horses.

If it was me I'd ask for around £10-15 a day as doesn't appear the dogs have to be walked, just ran in the garden which is always easier!

I got paid £25 a day to feed horses+goat, poultry, pigs, cats and dogs. Let the dogs run the farm during the day and then put the poultry in pens at night, dogs in, cats in and I had to stay there at night. however I had to buy my own food and drinks for the week I was there.
