Well, we've had some progress through the day. Yippee. We had one day accident which was totally OH's fault. Rosie got up, and OH picked her up for a lap cuddle. (grrr) Then, when she fidgeted, he put her down and walked away... so she did a wee right behind him. Taught him a lesson at least, felt sorry for Rosie, but equally, she didn't whine, or seem to hold it for longer.
I have also witnessed first hand how difficult this has been... we're feeding her in a slow feeder bowl, right by the back door, so the second she has finished eating she can be put out without any distractions between herself and the door! Well, she had finished eating, but was still licking around, head in the bowl, when the back legs opened and she wee'd! She never even lifted her head!!
And onto nights... no progress at all. we've gone from the odd dry clean night 3 weeks ago (think she's done this 3 times), to just 1 wee before her poorly tummy, to obviously a bit messy while she was poorly, to now... 2 big puddles, and 2 normal poos. So, almost gone backwards. We are still up with her at midnight, and up at 6am. I know we need to break this cycle, then I am convinced she will be fine.
Decided to fully crate her as from tonight, got a crate water bowl - which she duly sent flying with 1 minute - it's now tied in! And if we hear her whine, we'll let her out. She'll have her normal bed, and a towl, with a few chew toys.
What's the worst that can happen!!??? VERY nervous.
