I notice on the (unofficial) Household Cavalry Website that it is their open weekend at Bodney next weekend. Have always been on the Sunday before and that includes displays etc. Does anybody know if this is the format they are doing next weekend (23/24 July)?
Also, after seeing on here last years super photos of horses and riders on Holkham beach I would love to go and see them this year. Does anybody know what date they are going to the beach?

Oh yeah! I remember the video from last years cavalary beach ride, it took me all day to get over it :D some lovely sights to see and the horses were lovely too :D
 
They are doing a display at Holkham Country Fair this weekend. Not sure when they are at the beach, my Mum said something about them riding on the beach but didn't say when. I believe they are doing a display at their open weekend (again informed by my Mum!)

They are on the beach on thursday & friday - "Holkham beach from 0830 hrs on Thu and Fri."

I am at Bodney camp on friday / saturday / sunday competing in equestrian skill at arms for GB against South Africa. Then Sunday is our national competition where I will be competing with the household cav etc!

Thanks all. Well, if I haven't seen on local news, papers or on here that they haven't been to the beach before Thursday I will be making my way there then. Just hope I'm not disappointed! Will def be going to Open Weekend on the Sunday.
