We are thinking about relocating, can anyone suggest some agents or places to look (newspapers agents etc) for a nice 2/3 bed+ house within commuting distance of exeter, with or without a bit of land or indeed any office space in exeter as we shall be looking for that too - a big move!
Also need nice yard on which to keep her majesty - acess to school, pref indoor, good staff and atmosphere important, any competitions held there would be a bonus!

Many thanks!

How long a commute are you looking for, and do you have a preferable area to move to? Ditto horse, do you compete, or hunt, is good hacking important, do you need DIY, part or full (most livery west of Exeter seems to be DIY or part). Does your office space have to be Exeter, or would you look at outlying towns such as Crediton, Okehampton, Newton Abbot, Torbay?

Agents - I would look at Stags, Rendells, Husseys, Jackson Stops-Staff, there are many others and they will all throw up on Rightmove.

The Western Morning News Saturday paper (this is a morning paper) has a big property section, again they are all on Rightmove though!

Yards - there's this one, I don't know it personally but many people have spoken highly of the YO http://www.upec.co.uk/

If I can help more, please get in touch (best PM me)

There are three yards which could be considered 'in' exeter which have indoor schools- Newhall Farm, Glebe Equestrian Centre and Hitts Barton. I know most of the places round here; Newhall only does part or full I think, and the others do DIY or part/full as far as I know and they all have their up and down sides. If you are not to fussy about the school being outdoors, you can add Rollestone or UPEC to your options. These are the main 5 yards 'in' Exeter, although there are many smaller livery places, however none that I know of have decent schools and hacking. If you are interested in any of the smaller places, PM me and I can list you some. With regard to competitions, Newhall and UPEC often have them on site, Glebe do some showing stuff and Hitts I don't really know about. We don't do anything like that at the moment at Rollestone as it really is just focused on livery, but we have an excellent school, good hacking, excellent stables and grazing and the most convenient to the city centre. Hope that's of some help, feel free to ask if you've any more questions

thanks for that - am either after diy or part although preferably part, hacking is importnat, we are just getting to the level to compete so it would be nice to have some on site stuff as dont have a trailer - yet! upec and newhall look nice, thats the sort of yard im at at the mo so will try them, although okehampton is fine but torbay is probably too far.

will try all the sources you mention, ta!
