Houses to rent near Tewkesbury

Hi..firstly I'm a newbie (ish) so hello everyone.

Secondly I'm desperately looking for a place to Rent in the Tewkesbury area. The problem I have is I have cats so it needs to be away from roads, but also no one seems to want to rent to anyone with Pets. Does anyone know of anywhere or where I can look?
 
Sorry do not know anywhere but all i can recommend is googling key words, such as; one bed, pets allowed glos or something! I pretty much google everything, even the time.. lol

Either that or Rightmove (www.rightmove.co.uk) is prettygood.

Do ask though - im in rented accomodation in Somerset and they were not keen on the pets.
I offered to put in my contract things like damage to carpets / curtains caused by cats would be renewed by me at the end of the tenancy/

Sometimes, by offereing to pay a bigger deposit it sways it in your favour
 
Hmmm, I may be able to help, we have a house in Northway, it has been vacant for a couple of weeks, clean, tidy, well maintained, only 2 beds though. The only thing is that it backs on to the railway line.

I can't check with my sister-in-law until tomorrow though now. I'll get back to you.

don't know your budget but there's a house to let with Y&G in Apperley

try Engall Castle and Millichamp - or Andrews - they have letting departments

also, the Forthampton estate has cottages available sometime - they're fantastic but you'd have to ask about pets - they're managed by Bruton Knowles office in Gloucester

try further east rather than west - the nearer you get to Hartpury College, the more ridiculous the rents get :P
