Hovis' Diary - the book and Amazon

Morning all
Just a swift update on the book and the ongoing issues with Amazon.
I received a PM from a lovely lady yesterday saying she is still awaiting her book from Amazon which probbaly means so are others of you.
Simply put we are having a few issues with them and so I would respectfully suggest that you cancel orders with Amazon and use Horse and Hound online shop (who have been absolutely BRILLIANT!) or go directly to the shop at www.bransbyhorses.co.uk

Once again I am so so sorry for the issues, we are trying to resolve them but we are struggling.

To those of you who have bought a book THANK YOU for your support and I hope you have enjoyed it. To those who haven't, if you can find a spare £4.99 then every penny does go to the charity and they do wonderful work. Its a great stocking filler / little present for anyone and I know a fair few non-horsey people who have bought it and enjoyed it so please please support us if you can.

Thank you once again to those of you who have supported us, to the Horse and Hound online team for all your help and of course to Hovis for being such a talented writer ;) :D
 
Oh bum - I have a £5 amazon voucher on its way and was planning to get Hovis's diary with it! oh well, once I've been paid I'll order from H&H.

Great work by the way H&S's mum! :)

I'm so sorry. We are trying really hard to sort whatever the problem is out but we are very little fishes in a very big sea. In fact I think we're probably just the little bits of algae that the little fish eat! Its worse than trying to have a chat with the Queen :(
 
I'm sure there is a valid reason and i don't want to disrespect Amazon a) because i don't want this thread pulling and b) because as a customer i find them fantastic - very promt, very reliable and very helpful.
I guess we are merely having first time, unknown author issues, thats all.

I'm not sure you should describe Hovis as algae - he wont like that!! :)

Not to worry I'll treat myself to something else from Amazon AND treat myself to the 'Diary' too!

Alas no. The requests for Burghley stands have to be in by Feb so we missed the boat this year. We don't know any of the stands that are going to have been cheeky enough to ask them to sell it for us.
I have a meeting tomorrow with Bransby to dicuss next year and the events we want to get to.

*Ponders how long I'd last selling books in Burghley car park before the police were called?!!!!*

Note - that was a joke and I wouldn't do it!!

Genius idea but probably too late in the day now. Arrgggghhh why didn't i think of this earlier?!

DaisyDo - glad Daisy enjoyed it and that she liked meeting the big man himself. He has a few smaller fans who tell everyone and anyone they know the Destroyer. Even when its quite clear the other person has NO idea what they're on about!! :D
