Dear diary
Wow what an exciting weekend I had last week!
I went HUNTING!! Whoop whoop!
It started with mum giving me a really good groom, then aunty Sarah putting my travel boots on. This confused me when I saw poofy had also got his travel boots on. I was glad to see that he looks as silly as I do with the silly things on but we never go anywhere together so I did start to worry mum had finally sold us as a job lot
Anyway after poof bags took aaaaggggeees to get on the lorry mum loaded me and off we went. We still had no idea where we were off to so I entertained myself by trying to pull poof bags whiskers out through the bars of the lorry. He kept moving though which is so not the point of the game.
Mum wasnt in the lorry which confused us but occasionally as we went round roundabouts I could see her in the car behind us. Most odd.
We eventually got to a big field and mum and Aunty Sarah got me ready whilst dad sorted out poofy. I couldnt see any jumps r anything but there was quite a few other horses there. It was all very strange. Then we heard this odd noise. It sounded like the one who barks but lots of them and they kept howling like the wind does though the stables sometimes.
Then all of a sudden there were dog things everywhere and we set off behind them. Aunty Sarah was riding me and mum set off in the car again. I didnt understand what the heck was going on but we wet on a lovely hack with all these other horses and of course the dog things. One of the dogs obviously had a poo problem and we had to keep stopping to let it go to the toilet. It was a nice hack and we got to jump some nice big logs and thing. Then when we got to a field the dogs started acting really strangely and running about barking and things. Then we were off!! I saw mum flash by as we ran past, following the dogs and these bossy men on the horses at the front. It was fab!! Poof and I ran like the wind, following all the others. I hadnt got a cue what we were doing but it was great fun and dead fast!! Wooohhhaaaaaa!! Then the dogs seemed to find what they were after which to my disappointment was just a bloke in a jumper. What did he have that they wanted so bad we had to run fast to catch up with him? Anyway then we had another nice hack and go back to where we started. Mum was thee and she seemed very pleased with poof bags and I so lord knows what we were supposed to have done?
We got home and mm gave me a nice bath, lots of nice food and lots of cuddles. Mum is one odd woman sometimes.
Shes been away for most of this week but came back last night to ride me. We had a fun time although she is getting rather fixated with me doing perfect circles and holding m head just so. I was ignoring that bit so Dad got on to show her the lessons hes been having with Aunty Cathy. Aunt Cathy is really cool and a very good rider but a boy could go off her pretty quick if shes going to start teaching mum and Dad how to make me hold my head like some sort of dressage queen. I am the Destroyer not a dainty pansy who ponces round in circles. Hummpphhff.
Anyway Im kind of hoping we get to go on another hack with the dogs soon and that mum soon forgets about this dressage poop. I wonder how I can convince her that I am far too manly to do it? Ideas on a postcard please?!!!
