Well, i have only just started posting on HHO again after not posting for quite a while ... been too busy! I used to post in the CR but am feeling a bit old for that now so I have started posting in here.

So how are all of your horses?

Took one of my boy's for a jumping lesson today and he was a star!

Mine are DIRTY and wet though I also took one of mine for a jumping lesson today. Dontcha love it when they jump the warm up cross pole at 3' then bronc round the school with the equine equivalent of a huge grin!?

Our session was a bit like that all the way through today alas... ah well
 
Dirty and wet I guess by looking out of the window from my nice warm sitting room.

My lad is waiting on the Back person at the moment so we grazed in hand for an hour on the "nice" grass and the chucked him out and did my stable jobs. It sounds like you had a fab lesson well done.
 
Probably very soggy by now as I turned him out naked

We're only just coming back into work so not doing loads, took him around the bridle path today, he actually walked most of it - there's a first!! (and prob last lol).

I think next year will be more productive for us, I'm saving for a pickup and my friend is buying us a trailer once I've got said vehicle.

Was it puggy you were jumping?
 
Mine are all a bit mental today, probably because they've finally seen grass again after its been covered in snow for the past 8 days! They were all a bit ballistic in the field all morning. I let the crazy shetland out for a quick play - she was a total nutcase and got everybody else wound up :P Otherwise I lunged one and he spent the whole time bucking and galloping off

Was too windy to ride the other 2!

Otherwise just spent last 2 hours in the LASHING rain trying to wash a very pissed off horses legs! He has a showing show tomorrow and is a horse who hates to be clean...

YOU might know this stranger, in which case you could have introduced us properly. And I may be 503yrs old, but I'm wearing well (and my liver is in considerably better shape than yours, I'll warrant).
