How are your 09 foal plans going?

Who are using on whom? Are they in foal yet, if so how far gone?

We have one back in foal, Sarancha to Don Ricoss (wasnt quite what we planned but destiny played a hand and i think he will suit her) she is around 28 days. Sweet 16 is being covered next week to Danone II and Pelican Millie to Sieger Hit.

Be interesting to see what other 09 foals are planned.
 
I have put both my mares in foal for 2009..first is my TB mare in foal to Hemmingway is about 54 days...2nd is my Irish mare, who is a maiden, in foal McJonnas approx 47 days, about a week apart,both took first time AI

Mine is at the vets having been AI'd this morning to Quicksilber. This is the second attempt so hope it works this time round. fingers crossed.
 
i have had 1 inseminated to Eurocommerce Zurich another ten days to wait until the 1st 15 day scan, another mare inseminated to Stakkatol waiting again ten days until scan, and a mare due to be insemianted to Balou De Rouet in the next week touch wood as time is getting on...
 
just seven months to go for our first foalie to arrive.............. can't wait, but still enjoying the news of colleagues, family and freinds arrivals this year and seeing the new borns arrive at our local stud.. so helps pass the time...................

We had a super year this year with one pregancy after another scanned on first attempts so have multiple foalings due on the same day within a very short period of time in April and are awaiting our last three mares to be scanned and one pony mare yet to be bred as wanted her to foal during the kids summer holidays so that they are allowed up at night, we have used McJonnas Umenno and Amoureux. have swapped our two Goodtimes mares around, Prija to Umenno and Velita to McJonnas.... Of course our first Amoureux babies due so a very exciting year ahead...
 
Just two going in foal this year -for now!

My Weltmeyer x Sherlock Holmes x Consul mare was AI'd to Berkeley and we stuck to Breitling for my Dimaggio x De Niro x Rosenkavalier mare as we were so pleased with her colt this year. Niether have been scanned yet so fingers crossed they have both taken.
 
Having had 2 Grafenstolz offspring from our Crackerjack mare over the last 3 years, we've opted for a change for next year. She's 30 days in foal to Primitive Proposal

Managed to cut back on the number of mares putting back in foal to three, two in foal already to Mill Law, the third mare has only just had her foal by Fleetwater Opposition so will wait for 21 days to cover her again, getting late so will have to hope she holds first time
 
Two already scanned in foal:
maiden mare Atlantic Song (Amerigo Vespucci x Landmark) to Olympus Cherokee Chief.
Dream On (Demonstrator x Pry) back to Sempers Spirit as I am so pleased with this years colt.
One to scan next week:
Wessex Lady (West Country x Atlantus) to Repertoire.

fingers crossed for three happy, healthy foals in 2009
 
My mare has had 2 frozen attemps which have failed and so we have gone the fresh ai route - she was ai'd 2 days ago, so keeping our fingers crossed for this time.
 
Wont be my foal as she is out on loan, but My TB mare who is by the Saddlers Wells stallion High Tension out of a Makbul dam, is nearly 2 months in foal to Deanes San Ciro Hit, a young stallion by Sandro Hit out of a Dutch Courage/Saunter mare. To hopefully produce a nice allrounder/eventer!
 
Our first mare is now 136 days pregnant and the other mares are literally only days and a few weeks behind her. All took first time to TB stallions (Advise, Echo of Light and Librettist). Anyone got any mare further advanced in their pregnancy than that?
 
my maiden mare went to lambridden stud to be a.i she is a maden mare whose breading is clydesdale/ warmblood by mariuson and i have put her to champion FP. she went first time and is 55 days gone she is due april 2009 and foal is eagerly awaited
 
Mmm ... not sure I want to think about it - I've still got 5 of mine and one visitor to foal before I can get them BACK in foal. On the ones who have foaled:
Widget is having a year off due to a massive haematoma;
Scarlet is not going to breed again due to a nasty heart murmur and her age;
Dawn is in foal (her first) to Avanti Amorous Archie
Her full sister Pride is also in foal to Archie.
Portia is in foal to Raj
Karina was covered by Raj - awaiting 14 day scan
Maggie AI'd to Archie - awaiting 14 day scan

Fuzzy has 14 day scan tomorrow - hopefully AI'ing a visitor on Friday - she should have gone to Raj but he's managed to do something silly to himself and is very lame! Which leaves me with a bit of a problem! While he's off I'll probably AI the RID mares to Archie - can't really justify the expense with the sport horse mares so Rambo (3 year old Raj colt not yet graded) may well get a taster of what his future career will probably entail!

Arab mare went to stud on sunday to be put to a nice young stallion just imported from the states, Mistrals Iman. Fingers crossed as she is an older mare who hasn't foaled for six years.
 
Just one, Minnie is still at the stud, tarting about with the appy stallion Dances With Wolves

megan is in foal, 17 days to frecklton enchilada. She's to have a second scan though as her blob was looking a little small so second scan on the 21st to check its growing and there isn't some thing wrong. All this waiting is cracking me up!!!!

Carerra has been back out with Just Ross for 7 weeks now - I have been working down south for 2 weeks tomorrow and she was coming into season when I left - so fingers crossed for a blob when I get back tomorrow!!
 
Evy has scanned in foal to Cameo's Reflection (last covered 26th April)

Alma is having a year off after losing her baby this year.

Clover is in foal to a coloured WB stallion by Mars (no, it is not my colt, lol - it is one of his graded half brothers)

Belle - doesn't have foals, she just looks after the babies once they are weaned off of their mums.
