Two mongrels - both collie crosses:
Daisy - 3 years old - really doesn't care. She will cock her head to listen to them, but then generally ignores them.
Fred - 6 years old - HATES them (but then he hates all loud noises). He either goes behind the tv cabinet and shakes or he presses himself as close as he can to his favourite human, curls up in a tight little ball and shakes. The very best thing is to ignore him . . . no stroking, no talking to him . . . until the noise stops and he calms himself down.
