How are your Thoroughbreds bred?

Mine is by Bertolini out of Moon Royale, apparently Bertolini offspring are usually chestnut and hot- he is the complete opposite, bay and quiet as they come (unless he's having a bad day, when if you ask him to move he'll attempt to flatten you)

Some pretty impressive bloodlines there Girlracer.

Thank you, he has some very successful siblings, he just never quite made the grade. I think that's attitude more so than a lack of talent mind you, and perhaps never quite given the chance, which is often the case isn't it? Nevermind, we have lot's of fun and his forte is certainly on the hunting field :)

Fig is Galileo x Overnight, damsire Windwurf.

My 7/8ths bred (Whitton Dancer) is by Dancing High, who is by Shirley Heights - I see him on your pedigree, OP. I've read that Shirley Heights was a bit sharp, and that most Dancing High babies are somewhat nuts - mine is!

"My" other boy, ex-racer, is by Topanoora out of a Gunner B mare.

Daft Lad (snigger) - by Danbird out of Stolen Melody - cracking little man
Hermitage Court - by Out of place out of Russian Act - love of my life
Get The Word - by City Honours out of Luso Dream - missed every day and taken far too soon

Mine is by Exit to Nowhere (tail males to Neverbend through Riverman and Irish River) and out of Songs of Innocence (by Salse). Geoff has in his third gen Riverman, Halo, Topsider and Mill Reef, and fourth gen has Neverbend, Hail To Reason, Hoist the Flag, Northern Dancer, Prince John, and Luthier - all chef-de-races. Can trace to War Admiral, Count Fleet, and Bold Ruler somewhere...

Apparently Irish River produces good event horses - pity Geoff is rubbish...

Reg's sire is Alflora, out of Country Choice...

He's got Nijinsky on both sides, dear boy :D

Smokes' sire is Sagamix, out of Najmat Sehayl...

Both boys have very famous daddies doncha know ;) Pity Reg was utterly useless (well, not useless but lacking the racing spirit) and Smokes never even made the track!

My tb is by Gone Fishin' out of Kris.
Sharpen Up and Native Dancer are in the line which a few other people have mentioned here :) On the sport horse date website I traced it back 17 generations back to the late 1700's! Very interesting.
