Can't believe this horse wasn't in pain, burns hurt like hell (they don't look like full thickness which don't hurt). Surely the bridle would have touched them & made them sting if nothing else? Poor soul should have been taken home & nursed not ridden.

Firstly i cant believe they still competed him that day, mine would of been on the lorry and home for loads of tlc.
Secondly it is blinkig horrid to think it was most likely another cometitor who inflicted the pain and suffering on the poor horse.

Terrible and it says that he had the same substance smeared on his girth area before. I suspect he is a 'winner' and probably the decision to compete him anyway was partly to show that the bullies cannot win. Wicked attack, poor horse. Let's hope what 'goes around comes around' to the perpetrator!

I must admit I find it difficult to condone competing him though, mine would have been taken home immediately, guess that makes the owner a ribbon seeker too
