That's the downside of the forum. You get to see bad stuff you wouldn't dream possible happening to the creatures we love so much. The poor, poor thing. I hope its misery ends soon and it may RIP.
i would say f*** the bloodlines think about that poor horse, i agree with everyone it should have been PTS a long time ago. people like that make me sick if i ever met someone that let a horse suffer like that i would quite easily beat them with a blunt object. how on earth can they think they are saving it!! its such a shame as it could be such a gorgeous horse. WTF is wrong with people!
Its very sad, what a gorgeous horse. the thing is the horse cannot say wether it wants to go on or not so we in our somewhat privelidged position have to do what we think is right.
There can be nothing wrong with PTS when you think its the right thing to do. Yes the horse looks OK, but wether it should be kept for the sake of it...its a hard one and Im so glad its not my call.

All i can do is echo what has already been said!! How the F*CK can someone honestly believe that they have rescued this horse, poor sod should have gone on to it's original destination, and his suffereing ended.
That is so very sad. Hope they get their arses in to gear very soon and have the poor animal PTS. I think he has suffered enough already
I often read stories of young horses that have been "saved" by rescue centres but have ongoing issues/injuries that mean they can never be ridden or used for breeding and wonder whether it wouldn't have been better to pts & use the funds to turn round an animal that could have a productiver life. But this is off the scale. How could anyone even think for more than a few moments that they were being fair to the horse. To me it smacks of "this horse has bloodlines that I can make money out of".
I'm such a wimp (Or is it because I have self-control?) I can't even bring myself to click on the link & see the item. I'm moved & horrified just reading what you other guys have written.
That is hideous - the one leg looks like extreme Ballerina Syndrome, that's been terrribly neglected and the other one - God knows!! That horse needs to be assessed by Vets who specialise in this kind of thing, but I do think that the kindest thing would be to put him down! Having said that, he looks well in himself and with leg problems you wouldn't really want him any heavier - though he could have rug on! Can't decide if if eyes look happy or not though......... though he seems interested in his surroundings - there's always the arguement, for where there's life and fight....... Poor bugger!!
How absolutely awful. The owners should be shot. A beautiful horse totally ruined. I am all for not putting a horse to sleep if at all possible but this is dreadful. That horse is simply never going to have a normal life and must be in considerable pain. I would have him PTS immediately. How heartbraking. I hope the owners were reported for cruelty and banned from keeping horses for life.
