How best to water an indoor school?

Can anyone recommend how to do this, without standing for hours with a hose? I have looked at garden sprinklers but they are so small and feeble the water evaporates rather than soak the sand.

I can't afford a sprinkler system, also it is a farm shed used for other things so this wouldn't be practical.

Any suggestions?

we use the rotating jet type of garden sprinkler mounted on a bar set on a wheelbarrow... you get a larger coverage area the higher the sprinkler is mounted, and the wheel barrow makes it easy to move around. 3 overlapping 20m circles do a 20x40 school quite successfully, about 20mins on each circle if the surface has got really dry, but around 10 mins if done every 3rd day
