Hello!

Connie is a 14hh pony I purchased 2 years ago, she was 5 & just had a foal.
I rode her for 6months, before giving her too my friend for 6months. He then purchased his own pony and I then gave her on loan to another friend of mine for the past year!

She's now moving onto a bigger pony so Connie's coming back to me (yay!)

My worry is, am I now too big to school her? I'm about 5'5" and weigh 9 stone.

Going on those figures what do you think?

If I were then to show you pictures of me on her, what do you think?!

Well you certainly don't look 90 stone!

At 5'5 and 9 stone (which I guess is what you mean) you will be absolutely fine.

I know Connie! She's at my yard!

You definitely don't look too big for her at all, and having an idea of her height and build, I am sure you are absolutely fine on her.

Your definately not too big! i am roughly the same height and weight as you and my pony is also 14hh and we still are a duo!! would never stop riding him.. unless i got obese! Dont let people tell you otherwise.

He wouldnt be popping them jumps if you were too heavy!

Ahh seriously?! How's she going?! They mentioned a couple of weeks ago about her coming back! :( Think she was being a bit bold! Havn't heard from them since though :(

She was out last night and looked to be going well! She was being a little bit bolshy a couple of weeks ago I remember, nothing major just a wee bit nappy, I just happened to be there so got S to take her into one of the paddocks to get her moving again, then she took her out for a bit of a gallop up the field with some of her friends (all seemed to enjoy that!).

Shame she has to go back but from what I hear from K, they need something bigger and maybe a wee bit more straightforward, that S can just hop on and do whatever with - I get the impression from K that Connie goes best for yourself!
