but its a perfectly innocent question regarding riding hats...you naughty lot!

Well after having trying on riding hats (jockey skulls) yesterday and finding that they do still make the Charles & Owen Kid's Own skull cap thank god seen as its the only hat that fits my abnormal shaped head lol! it got me thinking about sizes head shapes (yes I really don't have anything more important to think about right now lol

what size riding hat do you require to fit your barnets under? just wondered what size head most people have got, what's the most popular size, do you actually know? and have you ever been measured properly, I'm a 6 n 7/8's kinda girl, which is 56 cm or in skull sizes one and a half, is that small, normal or large? I was never measured correctly years ago with my current skull cap, just fitted it myself but was glad to know that indeed I was right when measured yesterday....my head has not shrunk or grown in the last 10 years (yep...naughty me!).

I'm a peanut head too - 6 7/8 (was told to always buy the adult hat not the kids though as the shape is different?? )

I spat my coffee all over my monitor. I have this vision of a Mr Potato Head kid in the world's biggest hard hat....
 
6 7/8 here too, also wearing Charles Owen kids hat (but not the crash skull) presumably my head has not grown up 'cos it fits my head. I do have problems when my hair needs cutting though as I have fat hair

I have a MASSIVE head, I wear a size 4 in my champion kids skull cap (that's 7 1/2 in old money). I buy champion skull caps because I need a bigger size in any other make......

I've always had a big head, wore a size 3 skull cap from the age of about 10.

Oh and I can't wear hats at all, they don't fit on my massive enormous head, even mens baseball caps........
