I think more 17.2hh Don't know what this four years is about... Try Eight! I have a six year old and brought as 16hh more like 16'3hh now and that was only over a few months! And mine was well grown for his age, filled out etc.
This is a tip that my instructor told me about working out how big horses will grow how exact it is I'm not sure but I did it on my youngster and it made her to make 16.2 - 16.3 which would be about right.
You need a length of baler twine and you measure from the elbow to the fetlock and cut it to this length. Then using the same piece of twine measure from the elbow to the withers. The end of the twine will be how big your horse grows to. Probably an old wives tale but a bit of fun!!!

There is an ID at my yard who is 10 this year (I think??) He pretty much has remainded the same shape for the last year.....so I make that at least 8 for ID's to finish. My TB is rising 7 and he is just about stopping (hope) He was kept poor for the first 3 1/2 years and has grown 4 inches in the 3 years I've owned him
