How Big Will This Cob Get?

Hi there,

I know this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find any related threads via the search option

So here's the question - how big would you expect a gypsy cob type to get, bearing in mind he is 2 1/2 ish, currently standing at 13.3hh at the rear end and still looking very baby'ish.

Is there anyone on here who had a cob at that age? If so, how big did they get please?

My boy was that height and eight months on he's 14.2 and still bum high. I asked the back man yesterday, and he said he'd be growing till he's six, filling outwards mainly, but growing a few inches up - so I'm thinking 14.3 - 15 hh will be the outcome. But the final few inches will be over time.

Stinky at 2 was just under 14 hands. He is now just turned 6 and his bum has gone up again. He is 15 1/2 hands at the moment and I think will go to 15.1 or possibly a little more. He will continue to fill out - the last 6 months has really seen him broaden on his chest and bum, and will finish growing when he is about 8 or 9.
