how big you think he might make? (pics)

Hi i have a Knabstrupper x TB 18month old gelding his dam is 15.3hh and his sire is 16.2hh, he is currently a smidgen under 15hh my YO keeps saying he'll make 15.2hh and that he's not very croup high at the moment. I think and hope he'll make nearer the 16hh mark. either way he is with me for keeps, just wondering what some of you guys thought, Thanks for any help.

May make 16HH. Don't forget they have growth spurts where they are level then next min croup high.

although he looks pretty mature for 18 months, I reckon he'll have plenty left in him. My boy is best part of 15.2 and he was probably 14hh at this age - much much smaller.

Have you done the fetlock test? Take a piece of string from the point of the elbow down to the fetlock. Then keep the end at the elbow and bring the other end up. This point should be the eventual wither height. Think it was a bit of an underestimate of mine IIRC.
