How blinkin' cold ?

Really cold here, i am going to walk to the yard- it was as cold last sat and I was cycling and had to phone my husband to collect me on the way home as my hands were so painful.

Freezing here in Berkshire too, haven't got a thermometer bit must be coldest night yet! -8 perhaps everything inside stables totally frozen!

NW Surrey, car showing -11 on dash at 7.15 this morning - and for the whole drive to yard.
On return, showing -9 all the way back an hour later

I have to drive through a town on the 4 mile dash & the reading usually goes up by around 2 degrees for a mile or so - this morning - nope, still the same!

All I know is its damned cold out there - and thank goodness for heated seats!! :D

-14 when I went up yard in Herts!! Water buckets frozen, poo frozen. My hand froze in Sealskin gloves!!!! Went home jumped in bath and water luke warm-could have cried!!!

I'm in MK too, OP! I let my cat out at about 1:30am last night, she was out for probably less than 2mins and when she came back in, her fur was like ice! She came to sleep with me, poor old girl was freezing. The dog was completely oblivious of course, sleeping in the middle of the cold kitchen tiles instead of her lovely warm bed, haha!

7.20am -21C so the thermometer says.
I have no idea what it is like outside as there is too much snow on my windows.

Hello Winter. Again:)

-8.5 when i left home first thing here in South Oxfordshire but found when i got to the nags i actually could take their rugs off as sun was beautifully warm even though it was minus in temp :p

Minus 11 at our yard overnight . . . minus 7 when I went down this morning and a tropical minus 2 when I left. Don't think it will get above freezing all day. All Kal's poos frozen in stable, water buckets frozen (but only very thin layer so he can't have been without for long). I have to poo pick this afternoon . . . that'll be fun!

I'm waiting until I get back from putting Kal to bed before I have a nice warm bath . . . currently sitting on the sofa under TWO fleece blankets and with a dog on my feet to try and thaw out.

P

Its 1o here in the North West so pretty tropical compared to other places;)

My in laws live in Holland and I know last weekend it was something stupid like -22o
