How blinkin' cold ?

-9 here in south lincs at 12.30pm so that's the warmest we're getting. Around -15 during the night.
On the plus side it was so cold my usually very wet mare had only peed once, and the cleaner one not at all! I did twist my ankle on a frozen poo tho, so not all good!

Freezing! And what I don't understand is why my pony is still warm as toast in only a MW rug despite being clipped out??! She just seems to stay toasty whatever the weather. Very odd, the HW's are still wrapped up after they were cleaned. Still, that's no bad thing I guess.
 
No idea how cold it was last night here near Guildford except it was chucking filly. There was ice on the windows when we went to bed :o there was a fight as to who was getting the dog to cuddle :D Horse was frozen into his rug this morning :eek: Got to have been at least down to -10. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.
 
No idea how cold this morning as my Landrover doesn't have techie gadgets like a thermometer (am thinking of hanging a fridge thermometer from the rear view mirror though!)
It was cold but according to the local weather probably no colder than -5 here.
On the up side I prefer poo picking frozen poo - it all comes up in one neat tidy lump!
 
- 10 this morn @ 9am and that was outside my house which is south facing so was getting some sun ! , although very brrrrr absolutely glorious day blue skies and sunshine , have put my unclipped boys out naked (shock horror ) as in the sun it is gorgeous
