...eat her feed with bute and antibiotic power in it? She refuses point blank to touch it. She normal wolfs down her feed. I've tried mixing in carrots and sugar lump into it but she just fishes the carrots out and leaves the rest. Last night I left in for a hour or so thinking she might eat then but no joy, driving me mad!

What about mixing it with Molases and then putting it on a slice of bread?

You could try adding molasses, apple juice, honey or treacle syrup to it. Or you caould make a jam sandwich and put it in there. Or if she is anything like mine, you will have to resort to syringing it down her throat....

i use aniseed in my feeds, they love the taste and it masks all the nasties!!

Never managed to find something that will fool them for more than a day - these days I mix with a little water and syringe anything like that straight down the throat - at least you know they have got it all that way.

or take out the core of an apple and put it in the middle but it depends what type it is(it obviously wouldnt work with powder

)
