New Irish Bog Pony is driven by his stomach and is a Houdini.... After finding him in neighbours garden 2 weeks ago (see thread ) involving breakneck drive from work to rescue him from her building site and the main road (it's usually safe but a fence has been taken down for her building work ), I moved them into another field which has pretty good grass.

Went to get him in today to take him to a friends yard for a lesson and found him in winter field which I am saving (for the winter funnily enough.)

Have just spent over £200 redoing all the fencing and putting it at 4 foot but bugger jumped it despite mega zap electricity from the mains. It's wooden posts with 40mm tape single strand. Putting a second strand won't make any difference as he doesn't go under.

There is P&R and hedges around perimeter of land but some fields are split into paddocks of at least an acre or so each and I only have 2 horses so plenty to go round!

Stallion fencing???? Any ideas??

No rug on today as was warm. I think he'd be fine tethered although not keen on it, but TB would manage to injure himself!

Think I just need to put P&R with 3 bars & leccy on top at around 5 foot or so. I need to win the lottery.....
