I feed just fibre to my beast (he does not get on with mixes) just wondered if anyone has a great ideas on how to make it more interesting i put carrotts in it. He leaves his brekkie sometimes, he also get speedibeet and he does eat his evening feed tho. thankies.

yeah i was going to suggest apple or orange juice

either that or lots of chopped apples and carrots
or maybe alternate your fibre food so he never gets bored of one type, if this is a possibility

I put in carrots, plus any other left over veggies or bread from the house. I use a little sloppy speedibeet to damp down. I also sprinkle in a few high fibre nuts.

Mine have lucie stalks and green gold from Simple Systems and always clear their feeds up - but they do love their grub.

You could also try drying and chopping up mint if you have it growing in your garden or add a few drops of peppermint essence.

garlic, molasses, mint, cider vinegar, if hes not eating it he may not need it maybe cut his brekkie down and give him a bigger dinner if he always eats that

grated carrots - it goes a lot further if you grate it and mixes in really well so that the horse has to eat everything in order to get the yummy carrot!
