sid messing about in his turnout paddock! No grass but gets given lots of hay whilst hes in there! He did go out on his own but i know it sounds daft, was pinning for me at the gate and only when i went and sat with him would he stop! He now hates other horses being near me and is quite stroppy so i though i would introduce him to a horse after 9 weeks of not being with one and he was fine the first day but then yesterday he went mad! I put him out with his mate a shetland! I was worried when i left about him but he had a poo before i left and did calm down( i mean put him back in his stable). I need to stop his clinginess to me but dont want him being stupid with another horse! I can see that in 3 weeks he is not going to cope well without me being there! sorry for it being long! xx

Just put him in the field and leave him to it?!

It sounds like he thinks he may be going to get fed or something when you are there, espec if he doesnt want others near you.

just turn him out and let him chill out and graze, providing there is nothing he can hurt himself on he will be fine. If he is aggressive with other horses, put him in an adjacent paddock rather than putting one in with him.

It sounds like he is either feeling insecure or its over food.

Hi he cant got out in the field yet on one hour restricted turnout not messing about colic surgery! So thats something i cant do i mean when he is allowed out and now!
