I celebrated 3 years of owning Cudo yesterday and I would be remiss if I didn't come by and thank you all for all the roles and pieces of the puzzle that allowed me to find, acquire and succeed with this really special horse.
You've all been along for the journey and I have made some great new friends and feel proud that I learned a lot more about what is standard operating procedures for the UK life and shows compared to the US methods. I think this education has benefitted my own horsemanship and has definitely benefitted Cudo as well.
I made a slideshow of the highlights of the last 3 years. I am including the link here. Music choices were crap, so sorry about that.

I also rode Chad and Cudo last night, in the dark ring with 1 light.... but fear not it's snow covered so we didn't do more than walk. More snow hit this am, but not much, only 3". More coming this weekend. We feel like Eskimos this year after having not much the last 2 years.
In the coming weeks (once I can safely trailer) I am hoping to start walking Cudo on some hills instead of just on the flat. He has a bit of excess Covid/Holiday weight and I didn't really get it all off last year and that's mission number 1 this season, before he jumps anything over 0.80m. He's doing well otherwise and is definitely not feeling his age. So hoping that we can get the weight off and look at starting our season in and around May or so.
Thanks for everyone's kindness over the years to us. I know I appreciate it more than I can say!
